Paul Neundorfer, President and Principal of Aristotle Design Group, has visited and supported schools in refugee camps in Thailand, Nepal and Kenya. After working with northeast Ohio’s resettled refugee community for four years, he and David Wallis, co-founded The Refugee Response. TRR is a 501c3 non-profit organization that through three distinct initiatives helps resettled refugees adjust to their new life in northeast Ohio. In 2009, ADG worked with Ohio City Inc. to design and site engineer an urban farm, the largest contiguous urban farm in the nation. Here, The Refugee Response operates the Refugee Empowerment Agricultural Program. Paul is currently TRR’s Co-Executive Director and serves on the Board of Directors.
In 2009, Paul travelled in Africa with a group from International Partners in Mission and its director, former Gilmour Academy classmate Joe Cistone. Paul returned to Nairobi several times to design and help implement an agricultural irrigation project in Kisumu, Kenya. Again in early 2014, Paul and David returned to Thailand and Myanmar to visit refugee camps, former students and several new schools.
