ARISTOTLE DESIGN GROUP

ADG’s experience is broad-based and expert. Our staff of landscape architects, designers, horticulturists, artists, craftsmen, and project managers have over 150 years of combined experience in the field. We partner with clients and collaborate with architects, engineers, arborists, soils scientists, artists, and contractors, guiding projects to achieve superior results. Typical commissions include a commitment from clients for design development through construction management.

ADG has completed residential, institutional, and resort projects internationally and throughout the United States.

PAUL A. NEUNDORFER, PRINCIPAL

Paul Neundorfer is the founder, president, and principal designer of Aristotle Design Group. Paul studied engineering for several years before graduating with honors, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from The Ohio State University, and obtaining a Master’s in Landscape Architecture from Harvard University Graduate School of Design. Mr. Neundorfer worked for several multidisciplinary firms in Cambridge, Massachusetts and Cleveland, Ohio before establishing Aristotle Design Group in 1994.

Aristotle Design Group works closely with its clients, typically accepting commissions for design and management of projects. Our goal is to create unique and timeless spaces by maintaining quality and appropriateness in design as well as paying resolute attention to the details of construction, plant palette and craftsmanship. Since its origin, Aristotle Design Group has had a strong presence in Northeast Ohio and the Chagrin Valley and has also completed residential, condominium, and institutional projects in Ohio, California, Colorado, Florida, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, New York, and Belize. 

Paul currently serves on the Board of Directors of The Refugee Response, a nonprofit organization that he co-founded in 2009. The Refugee Response empowers resettled families to grow roots, supporting them in becoming engaged, self-sufficient and contributing members of their new communities.

Paul has strong family ties in Ohio and Texas and has traveled extensively for work and pleasure in North, Central and South America, Southeast and Central Asia, Europe, and Africa. He is a visiting lecturer and senior thesis studio critic in Landscape Architecture at Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand.
